Upon receipt of your application and deposit, we will make an admissions decision in 5 business days. The acceptance letter will be sent to the email address on the application.
The acceptance letter will be issued once we receive the completed application with the $250.00 deposit. Once accepted into the program, we would need a copy of your passport photo page to verify that your passport will be valid for 6 months after the departure date. It is then the responsibility of the student or the student’s parents/guardians to contact their local embassy or consulate (or other appropriate office) in sufficient time to obtain any visas/entry documents for visiting the United States. Our Summer Camp Program does not require a student visa, so we will not issue a Certificate of Eligibility (Form I-20) to participants. According to U.S. Department of State, we recommend students apply for a Tourism and Visit (B-2) visa. Your travel plans can be finalized to come to Indiana Tech once you receive your B-2 visa stamp on your passport.
For more information about visas and travelling to the United States, please visit the following website: https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/visit/visitor.html
Please update us on the progress of your visa after the visa interview. Also, provide us your flight information (flight number, arrival time, arrival location) as soon as you buy your flight tickets to the US. Notify our office if there is any flight changes. When booking your flights, please keep in mind that accommodation will be available on July 8-9. Students who arrive to the US earlier will not be provided accommodation.
We will provide free transportation from Fort Wayne International airport (FWA) to Indiana Tech campus if you requested on the application. Upon your arrival, please provide the following documents to our department: passport, visa.
Please arrange for your flights to depart on July 29, 2017. Accommodation will be available until the afternoon of the 29th. Students who plan to remain in the US after this point will need to arrange for their own accommodation.
