Graduate Admissions Requirements

To be admitted to the graduate school, you must:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution (equivalent to a four-year US baccalaureate degree)
  • Have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.5
  • English proficiency test results (for students from non-English speaking countries) from the below list of approved testing agencies:
    • TOEFL iBT- 70; Computer Based – 173; Paper-Based- 523
    • IELTS – 6.0
    • PTE – 48
    • Duolingo English Test (DET) – 95
  • Complete graduate division application package (link), two letters of recommendations, official university transcript (certified and evaluated by one of our approved transfer credit agencies, if necessary)

International applications will not be reviewed until all of the above documentation has been received, and additional information may be required before an acceptance decision can be made. Once reviewed, we will notify you of our decision.

If you do not meet our minimum English proficiency requirement, the university will ask you to participate in its Intensive English Program (IEP) before enrolling in traditional courses.

Additional information

In addition to these basic guidelines, individual graduate degree programs have prerequisite requirements based on the knowledge and expertise needed to succeed in the curriculum.


Students must have completed the following courses (or equivalent 3 credit class) with a grade of C or better:

  • Accounting Principles
  • Principles of Management
  • Corporate Finance

M.S. in Management

  • Principles of Management

M.S. in Engineering

Student must have obtained a bachelor of science in a technical field.

  • Principles of Accounting
  • Corporate Finance

Students who do not meet the prerequisites can enroll in prerequisite classes before taking the graduate classes. Students must complete these courses with a satisfactory grade prior to starting graduate level courses.
