Accepted Students

After Acceptance

Before you begin your academic career with Indiana Tech, please review these important steps. By following these guidelines, you ensure that you have not missed any of the final steps.

Undergraduate students

  1. Submit your $500 USD tuition deposit for enrollment.
  2. Submit your $350 USD housing deposit to reserve your room in our residence halls.
    1. Note: Students under the age of 21 are required to stay on campus unless they meet the set exemptions which are listed under Housing Requirements.  If you think you qualify for an exemption, please reach out to your admissions counselor for further details.
  3. Complete the housing application on your my.indianatech portal.
  4. Complete IB & transfer credit evaluations.
  5. Work with your international admissions counselor to complete any final paperwork.
  6. If you are a Transfer Student, give our International Transfer Form to your current university so that they are able to transfer your SEVIS record to us.
  7. Fill out our Arrival Confirmation Form with your flight information to confirm your arrival and arrange transportation.
  8. Bring your final official transcript and immigration documents to International Admissions when you arrive.

  10. Attend International Orientation, which begins one week prior to the start of classes.

*Please note that deposits refunds must be requested in writing and postmarked on or before May 1. If a deposit is submitted after May 1, it is non-refundable.

Graduate students

  1. Submit your $250.00 non-refundable international processing fee
  2. If you will be living on-campus, submit your $350 USD housing deposit to reserve your room in our residence halls (graduate students are not required to live on-campus)
    1. Complete the housing application.
    2. Students must contact International Admissions office before applying for housing for availability.
  3. Work with International Graduate Admissions to complete any final paperwork.
  4. If you are a Transfer Student, give our International Transfer Form to your current university so that they are able to transfer your SEVIS record to us.
  5. Fill out our Arrival Confirmation Form with your flight information to confirm your arrival and arrange transportation.
  6. Bring your final official transcript and immigration documents to International Graduate Admissions when you arrive.
  7. Attend International Orientation, which begins one week prior to the start of our traditional Fall and Spring semester (all international students are required to attend).

International Orientation

The decision to attend Indiana Tech is the beginning of an extremely rewarding experience for you and your family. While this is certainly an exciting time, the transition into a university community can be challenging for students. We’ve designed the three- to four-day International Orientation around the needs of our students.

During International Orientation, you can expect to:

  • Relax and get to know other new students
  • Learn about U.S. immigration rules
  • Feel safe to ask all sorts of questions
  • Have fun!
